Mechanic Assistant
Pay Starting @ $17.00 per hour dependent upon experience
Position
Mechanic Assistants for Victor’s Landscaping, Inc. are responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repairs on two- and four-cycle engines, light powered equipment, vehicles (trucks), landscape trailers, construction equipment and trailers. They maintain a safe working environment and provide high quality control standards while maintaining high levels of equipment readiness. Mechanic Assistants have a general working knowledge of scheduled maintenance so that equipment is routinely cleaned, serviced and inspected to preempt equipment issues before they happen. They have some experience with routine maintenance such as brake replacements, tune ups, tire repair, and oil changes. They communicate effectively with lead people regarding shop needs or concerns and work well in a team setting. They must hold a valid Arizona driver’s license and a clean driving record. They must be able to provide their own tools.
Skills & Experience Required
- Valid Arizona driver's license, clean MVR
- Must be able to provide their own tools
- Maintain a safe working environment and provide high quality control standards while maintaining high levels of equipment readiness

Small Engine Mechanic
Pay starting at $18 per hour dependent upon experience
Position
Small Engine Mechanics for Victor’s Landscaping, Inc. are responsible for the servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing a wide variety of equipment common to landscape construction and maintenance such as power mower, tractors, line -trimmers, chainsaws, and edgers. Small Engine Mechanics are responsible for scheduling and conducting regular preventative maintenance inspection and repairs on any/all company equipment as well as performing any emergency repairs needed. They update and maintain electronic record keeping system for repairs and maintenance of equipment. Small Engine Mechanics may assist with instruction of safety and maintenance standards of equipment to staff and monthly safety meetings when required. They communicate effectively with lead people regarding shop needs or concerns and work well in a team setting. They must hold an insurable driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum of 1 year of shop, mechanic or fleet experience
- Valid Arizona driver's license, clean MVR
- Maintain a safe working environment and provide high quality control standards while maintaining high levels of equipment readiness
- Must be able to effectively and professionally communicate verbally and in writing with co-workers and supervisors
- Bilingual a plus (English/Spanish)
- Must have ability to operate, inspect, test, service and repair two- and four -cycle equipment, light powered equipment, and similar small machines to determine equipment serviceability and proper operation
- Schedule and conduct regular preventative maintenance inspection and repairs on any/all company equipment
- Must be able to safely and effectively sharpen equipment as needed
- Ability to manage inventory and ordering of repair parts
- Experience with keeping computer logs of work and issues with vehicles/equipment through fleet management software
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and similar programs

Auto Mechanic
Pay starting at $22 per hour dependent upon experience
Position
Auto Mechanics for Victor’s Landscaping, Inc. perform diagnostic and repair work, including scheduled preventative maintenance and necessary repairs to vehicles (medium, and heavy commercial/DOT-regulated vehicles and forklifts), landscape trailers, construction equipment and trailers. They are responsible for scheduling and conducting regular preventative maintenance inspection and repairs on any/all company vehicles as well as performing any emergency repairs needed. Auto Mechanics update and maintain electronic record keeping system for repairs and maintenance of vehicles. They communicate effectively with lead people regarding shop needs or concerns and work well in a team setting. They must hold an insurable driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Mechanic Foreman
Pay starting at $25.00 per hour dependent upon experience
Position
Mechanic Foremen for Victor’s Landscaping, Inc. are responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repairs on two cycle equipment, light powered equipment, vehicles (trucks), landscape trailers, construction equipment and trailers. They maintain equipment maintenance and repair schedules and prioritize workloads for the mechanic shop for the day. They maintain a safe working environment and provide high quality control standards while maintaining high levels of equipment readiness. Mechanic Foremen assist with scheduled maintenance and repairs to ensure a timely return of equipment to service and communicate effectively with department managers regarding job assignments, the progress of assigned tasks, and assist in coordinating equipment back fill when needed. They maintain vehicle and equipment records by annotating services and repairs in computer-based system. They are responsible for maintaining inventory of all parts, tools, and equipment. Mechanic Foremen must have a valid Arizona driver’s license, clean driving record, and be able to operate a variety of light power-driven equipment.

- Ability to manage inventory and ordering of repair parts and supplies for crews
- Experience with welding and fabrication
