Maintenance Labor Level 1
Pay $14.00 - $17.00 per hour dependent upon experience
Position
Maintenance Laborers for Victor’s Landscaping, Inc. are responsible for maintaining properties as dictated by job assignments from the company. They perform labor intensive work on a regular basis. They are proficient in performing all landscape maintenance tasks and must have the ability to meet company production rates and standards. Maintenance Laborers make use of many hand tools and power equipment in order to complete their assigned tasks and are expected to do so in a safe and knowledgeable manner. They communicate effectively with lead people regarding job assignments and the progress of assigned tasks.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous landscape maintenance experience, residential and commercial, is a plus
- Must be able to effectively communicate with customers, co-workers and supervisors in a professional manor
- Must be able to complete steady physical work; ability to bend, twist, and lift heavy loads
- Must have ability to lift a minimum of 75lbs or more on a regular basis
- Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions
- Must be able to safely operate all tools and equipment common to landscape maintenance including hand tools and power tools
- Must have reliable transportation

Skilled Laborers have significant prior work experience in a similar position and hold a valid Arizona driver’s license and clean driving record.
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum 1-year previous landscape maintenance experience, residential and commercial
- Valid Arizona driver's license, clean MVR
- Demonstrate knowledge of common plant and tree identification
- Must be able to effectively communicate with customers, co-workers and supervisors in a professional manor
- Must be able to complete steady physical work; ability to bend, twist, and lift heavy loads
- Must have ability to lift a minimum of 75lbs or more on a regular basis
- Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions
- Must be able to safely operate all tools and equipment common to landscape maintenance including hand tools and power tools
- Must have previous experience with driving a towed trailer
- Must have reliable transportation

Crew Leader
Pay $15.00 - $18.00 per hour dependent upon experience
Position
Maintenance Crew Leaders for Victor’s Landscaping, Inc. exemplify strong leadership skills, and possess the ability to efficiently meet job quality and time requirements. They have a general working knowledge of plant IDs and plant maintenance requirements. They have a basic understanding of irrigation systems, controller settings, and repairs beyond valves. Crew Leaders are proficient with all tools common to landscape maintenance (push mower, riding lawnmower, line trimmer, hedge shears, blower, etc.) They have a general knowledge of applying post emergent herbicides. Crew Leaders communicate effectively with their crew, clients, and the public, and are able to successfully train their crew members. It is preferred for Crew Leaders to hold ALCA, OPM, and Smartscape Certifications.

- 2 years or more of landscape maintenance experience, residential and commercial

- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of common plant, tree, weed, and pest identification

- Bilingual a plus (English/Spanish)

Pay $16.00 - $21.00 per hour dependent upon experience
Position
Maintenance Foremen for Victor’s Landscaping, Inc. exemplify strong leadership skills, and possess the ability to efficiently meet job quality and time requirements. They have a general working knowledge of plant IDs and plant maintenance requirements. They have a basic understanding of irrigation systems, controller settings, and repairs beyond valves. Foremen are proficient with all tools common to landscape maintenance (push mower, riding lawnmower, line trimmer, hedge shears, blower, etc.) They have a general knowledge of applying post emergent herbicides. Foremen communicate effectively with their crew, clients, and the public, and are able to successfully train their crew members. They must hold a valid Arizona driver’s license and clean driving record. It is preferred for Foremen to hold ALCA, OPM, and Smartscape Certifications.

- Minimum of 3 years landscape maintenance experience, residential and commercial
- Must have a minimum of 1-year supervisory experience
- Valid Arizona driver's license, clean MVR
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of common plant, tree, weed, and pest identification
- Must be able to effectively communicate in both English and Spanish with customers, co-workers and supervisors in a professional manor
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English and Spanish
- Demonstrate ability to effectively manage workload and meet time requirements and regularly report to project manager/superintendent throughout the day
- Must be able to properly maintain, prepare, and safely operate all tools and equipment common to landscape maintenance including hand tools and power tools
- Ability to inspect and maintain daily maintenance of equipment/trailer and vehicle to ensure it is serviced as needed
- Must be able to onboard new crew members, including new foremen and crew leaders ; assess strengths, and provide mentorship
- Demonstrate ability to supervise, train, and assign daily tasks to crew members
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and similar programs
- ALCA, OPM, Smartscape, or additional landscape industry certifications preferred
