Construction Labor Level 1
Pay $16.00 - $18.00 per hour dependent upon experience
Position
Construction Laborers for Victor’s Landscaping, Inc. are responsible for performing tasks involving physical labor at many different types of construction landscape projects as dictated by job assignments from the company. They perform labor intensive work on a regular basis. They are proficient in performing all landscape construction tasks and must have the ability to meet company production rates and standards. Construction Laborers make use of many tools and equipment common to landscape construction in order to complete their assigned tasks and are expected to do so in a safe and knowledgeable manner. They communicate effectively with lead people regarding job assignments and the progress of assigned tasks.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous landscape construction experience is a plus
- Demonstrate knowledge of common plant identification
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of sprinkler and drip irrigation systems, hardscape, and other areas related to landscaping needs
- Must be able to effectively communicate with customers, co-workers and supervisors in a professional manor
- Must be able to safely complete steady physical work and tasks related to construction or excavating; ability to bend, twist, and lift heavy loads
- Must have ability to lift a minimum of 75lbs or more on a regular basis
- Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions
- Must be able to safely operate all tools and equipment common to landscape construction
- Must have reliable transportation

Construction Labor Level 2
Pay $18.00 - $22.00 per hour dependent upon experience
Position
Skilled Construction Laborers for Victor’s Landscaping, Inc. exemplify strong leadership skills, and the ability to efficiently meet job quality and time requirements. They have a general working knowledge of plant ID. Skilled Construction Laborers are proficient with all tools common to landscape construction including Bobcat, trencher, compactor, hand tools, etc. They have a basic understanding of irrigation systems, controller settings, and repairs beyond valves. They communicate effectively with lead people regarding job assignments and the progress of assigned tasks. It is preferred for Skilled Construction Laborers to hold a valid Arizona driver’s license with a clean driving record, ALCA certifications, and hardscape experience.
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum 2-years previous landscape construction experience
- Valid Arizona driver's license, clean MVR
- Demonstrate knowledge of common plant identification
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of sprinkler and drip irrigation systems, hardscape, and other areas related to landscaping needs
- Must be able to effectively communicate with customers, co-workers and supervisors in a professional manor
- Demonstrate ability to effectively manage workload and meet time requirements
- Must be able to safely complete steady physical work and tasks related to construction or excavating; ability to bend, twist, and lift heavy loads
- Must have ability to lift a minimum of 75lbs or more on a regular basis
- Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions
- Must be able to properly maintain, prepare, and safely operate all tools and equipment common to landscape construction

Construction Foreman
Pay $22.00 - $28.00 per hour dependent upon experience
Position
Construction Foremen for Victor’s Landscaping, Inc. exemplify strong leadership skills, and possess the ability to efficiently meet job quality and time requirements. Foremen have a general working knowledge of plant, tree, and turf IDs and watering requirements. They are proficient at paver, flagstone, concrete, and turf installation. They have broad knowledge of irrigation systems, controller installation and programming, installation of valves and backflow preventers. They are proficient with all tools common to landscape construction including Bobcat, trencher, compactor, hand tools, etc. They must be able to communicate effectively with their crew, clients, and the public. Foremen must hold a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. It is preferred for Foremen to hold ALCA, ICPI, or additional landscape industry certifications.
Skills & Experience Required
- 3 -5 years’ experience in commercial and residential landscape construction
- Must have a minimum of 1-year supervisory experience
- Valid Arizona driver's license, clean MVR
- Demonstrate knowledge of common plant and tree identification
- Demonstrate working knowledge of sprinkler and drip irrigation systems and controllers, hardscape, and other areas related to landscape needs
- Demonstrate ability to effectively manage workload and meet time requirements and regularly report to project manager/superintendent throughout the day
- Must be able to effectively communicate in both English and Spanish with customers, co-workers and supervisors in a professional manor
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English and Spanish
- Must have working knowledge of blueprints
- Must be able to properly maintain, prepare, and safely operate all tools and equipment common to landscape construction
- Must have minimum 2 years of experience safely operating small excavation and power equipment including sod cutter, trencher, and bobcat
- Ability to inspect and maintain daily maintenance of equipment/trailer and vehicle to ensure it is serviced as needed
- Must be able to onboard new crew members, including new foremen and crew leaders; assess strengths, and provide mentorship
- Demonstrate ability to supervise, train, and assign daily tasks to crew members
- Must be able to communicate and coordinate deliveries of material
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and similar programs
- ALCA, ICPI, or additional landscape industry certifications preferred
