Certified Applicator Level 1
Pay $17.00 - $20.00 per hour dependent upon experience
Position
Certified Applicators for Victor’s Landscaping, Inc. are self-motivated and able to manage job routes to efficiently meet quality and time expectations. They have a general knowledge of all equipment and chemicals common to landscape spray operations. They always obey laws and regulations to specific chemical labels. They are responsible for filling out all appropriate paperwork and notices, as well as keeping their licenses current and active. Certified Applicators must hold a valid Arizona driver’s license, clean driving record, and current OPM applicators license. OPM Turf and Ornamentals and Right of Way category licenses are required.
Skills & Experience Required
- OPM applicators license or approved application and successful test completion within 90 days
- Valid Arizona driver's license, clean MVR
- Demonstrate knowledge of common plant and weed identification
- Must have basic knowledge of soil types, fertilizing, insects, plant and turf diseases
- Demonstrate ability to effectively manage job routes and meet time and quality requirements
- Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions
- Must be able to safely operate all tools and equipment common to landscape spray operations including knowledge of commonly used chemicals
- Must be able to safely obey laws and regulations specific to chemical labels
- Must have reliable transportation

Certified Applicator Level 2
Pay $18.00 - $24.00 per hour dependent upon experience
Position

They have a general knowledge of all equipment and chemicals common to landscape spray operations. They obey laws and regulations to specific chemical labels at all times. They are responsible for filling out all appropriate paperwork and notices, as well as keeping their licenses current and active. Certified must hold a valid Arizona driver’s license, clean driving record, and current OPM applicators license. OPM Turf and Ornamentals and Right of Way category licenses are required. Level 2 Certified Applicators have significant prior work experience in a similar position. They utilize their work knowledge and experience to provide on the job training and assistance to Level 1 Applicators on jobs which necessitate knowledge outside of the normal scope of duty. They are responsible for maintaining and reporting the chemical inventory on a regular basis.
Skills & Experience Required
- Hold a current OPM applicators license
- 1-year experience working with various chemicals

Chemical/Pest Department Coordinator
Pay starting at $19.00 per hour dependent upon experience
Position
Chemical/Pest Department Managers for Victor’s Landscaping, Inc. are responsible for the oversight of Level 1 & 2 Chemical Applicators as well as scheduling training and routes for both the chemical and irrigation technicians. They manage and report on the status of daily work. They effectively interact with all clients and potential clients and process billing for one-time chemical department jobs. They are responsible for maintaining and ordering special parts for the department. They assist with departmental trainings and communicate effectively with their crew, clients, and the public. They at a minimum have a current OPM applicators license. It is preferred for the Chemical/Pest Department Manager to also hold OPM Turf and Ornamentals and Right of Way category licenses.
Skills & Experience Required
- Must hold a current OPM applicators license
- Comprehensive knowledge of common plant and weed identification
- Must be able to provide mentorship and training on how to identify, manage, and accurately treat various soil types, fertilizing, insects, plant and turf diseases
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced office environment
- Experience in customer service, scheduling and staffing, composing and editing professional client emails
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English
- Work as a team member with a minimum amount of supervision
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Able to organize, prioritize, and execute a variable workload and multiple priorities
- Excellent problem solver with attention to detail
- Proficient with technology – quick learner with new programs
- Experienced with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office
- Experience with Clip preferred
